“SCREAM SCENES” IPHONE/IPOD
November 07, 2009
by Horror News
The scary season doesn't have to end with Halloween! Kitchy and fun vintage horror moments are being celebrated by Mill Creek Entertainment with the release of "Scream Scenes", a scary and spooky application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Mill Creek, a recognized leader in value entertainment, has developed "Scream Scenes," featuring audio and video clips from 16 of the most frighteningly fantastic classic horror films which can be found in Mill Creek Entertainment's Horror Classics 50 Movie DVD collection. Featuring screams and scenes from such beloved horror films including Night of the Living Dead, House on Haunted Hill, Little Shop of Horrors and 13 more! The application is available now on iTunes for the low price of $0.99.
"Scream Scenes" users will be able to select multiple screams at once to create their own montage of terrifying sounds as well as view a scary video clip from each of the legendary horror movies. As an added bonus, this application features a TIMER feature where users can select a scream, set the delay time and wait patiently to scare their friends silly. With just a few clicks, iPhone and iPod Touch owners can download and enjoy the spine-tingling, ear-shattering, blood-curdling screams and scenes from the greatest classic horror movies of all time.
"Audiences today want to access movie content in a variety of original ways, and experience it through different applications," says Ian Warfield, President and COO of Mill Creek Entertainment. "As we've expanded outside of the DVD marketplace, we noticed an exploding demand for film content. The addition of these applications to our product line significantly strengthens our position as a producer of high-quality entertainment."
