Scream Queen Gallery: Mary Huner
Mary Huner, now Mary Bogle, screamed, hacked and danced her way through a handful of 20th Century, micro-budget horror films: SLIME CITY (1988), GHOUL SCHOOL (1990), UNDYING LOVE/NEW YORK VAMPIRE (1991), and NAKED FEAR (1999). She later sullied her fine exploitation resume with mainstream misfires like TV's LAW & ORDER, but we forgive her.

This year, Mrs. Huner-Bogle has been celebrating the 20th Anniversary of SLIME CITY. With Robert Craig Sabin (with whom she performed in an improvisational sketch comedy group), she joined Fear Zone editor Greg Lamberson for a pair of 20th anni screenings at the Beloit International Film Festival, and she is will spend time signing DVDs at Fangoria's ... Tom is a rising horror illustrator and writer. As our gallery selections show, he prefers to work in black and white. When Chris Hedges of Insidious Publications requested color illustrations for their limited edition soft cover of Tom's first novella, The Problem with Mickey, Tom instead discreetly incorporated spots of color into his images--his most frightening work to date.
