When we launched two short weeks ago, on September 10th, our goal was to demonstrate the breadth of genre coverage we intend to offer---news; reviews; interviews; theatrical films; DVDs; publishing; music; comics; the paranormal---with more to come in the way of TV and haunted attractions.

Phase II focuses on the area of this site I have most looked forward to launching: original video content. The 21st Century Internet has enabled us to create video segments for this website. You may be asking yourself, "Does the world really need another horror website?" Here at the Zone, we believe that by coming to the table with a fresh perspective and cutting edge features, we can distinguish ourselves from the rest of the pack. We don't want to rule the world, we just want to show it in a different light.

To that end, our goal is to cover all aspects of horror entertainment: filmmaking, publishing, fiction, music, gaming, and art. We're not trying to be all things to all people, but we do want to emphasize the breadth of the genre and make this a domain where people can find news pertaining to all of the subgenres mentioned ...
